TOP/Kelly Fuels is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tedcastle Holdings, a holding company based in the South of Ireland with a wide range of business interests including TOP and a significant property portfolio.

TOP/Kelly Fuels was first registered in Northern Ireland in the 1840’s as John Kelly Ltd. and traded under this name until the mid 1990s when it commenced trading as Kelly Fuels, before taking on the trading style TOP Kelly Fuels.  It has been a leading fuel company in the Province since the late 1800s and presently holds the position of being one of the largest fuel importers and distributors, with a network of distribution points throughout Northern Ireland and a committed and highly motivated workforce.  This, along with the synergies enjoyed by being part of a larger corporate entity, assures our customers of the highest standard of service in the provision of our product.

The Head Office of the company is based at 1 Lombard Street, Belfast and accommodates the centralised functions of Accounts, Personnel, Sales & Marketing and Credit Control.  All centralised functions are a resource for the General Managers of each Depot throughout the Province, and indeed, Scotland, where the company owns and manages a coal company called Bruce Lindsay Coal.

The company’s main Depots in Northern Ireland are based at Londonderry, Coleraine, Ballymena, Larne, Belfast and Portadown. Customer needs are serviced from each of the depots and all personnel are highly trained in their specific area of work.
