An

For
some years now Kelly Fuels have been supplying thousands of Ulster
homes with it's unique Cleanburn home heating oil. Today, more

benefits. Developed in Northern Ireland, Cleanburn is a significant
leap forward in fuel technology. Kellys take ordinary home heating
oil and treat it with a combustion catalyst known as Dipetane
which release the full energy potential of the fuel with obvious
benefits to customers. Energy Management, published by the
Energy Efficiency Office of the Department of the Environment
said in an article "Tests carried
out by the University of Ulster on dipetane treated fuel are claimed
to have shown fuel consumption reduced by 13%; an
increase in the cut out temperature of 10oC; combustion temperature
reduced by 20oC. The University carried out subsequent tests
using a thermal energy meter and it found evidence of an "enhanced
energy release". It claims that when fuel was treated with Dipetane
the percentage reduction in fuel to obtain 1 kW of energy was
calculated to 10.45%. It also claims that more of the energy generated
is converted into useful heat. Additionally heat transfer is said
to be improved by keeping the inside of the boiler clean. Also
"less of the heat goes up the flue". Cleanburn home heating oil

Who says it is better?
A. Many tests have been carried out by customers and independent oil
analysts e.g. Moore Barret & Redwood, who are one of Europe's largest
oil analysts. These tests have shown decreases in oil consumption of
between 18% and 25% in domestic boilers.
Q.
Will Cleanburn mix with the oil in my tank?
A. Yes Cleanburn mixes freely with ordinary 28-second oil although if
there is a lot of fuel remaining the Cleanburn will dilute accordingly.
Q.
How long does it take for the Cleanburn to work?
A. An average system should show more heat within 2 weeks although it
does depend on how dirty the system is. The dirtier the system the longer
it takes as it must first clean out the system.

Do you use Cleanburn yourself?
A. YES - I always use Cleanburn. I have seen the results for myself.
